14 DAY TRIAL // Twitter Inc. has released an updated version of its iOS client application delivering a number of enhancements to Tweets in the home timeline.
Twitter version 5.12 for iPhone and iPad shows a preview in your home timeline for Tweets with Twitter photos, Vine videos, and other types of content. Users can tap the image to reveal the full screen version and even tweet a picture without text.
Joining conversations is more intuitive and fun: “You can reply, retweet, favorite, or follow someone straight from a Tweet in your home timeline,” says Twitter Inc. Users can switch off Tweet previews in “Settings.”
Twitter continues to work with iOS 5 and is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation), and iPad. Download Twitter for iOS (Free) to take advantage of the new features.
