14 DAY TRIAL // A new flavor of the Twitter application is now available for download for the people who entered the beta testing program, namely version 5.0.
The new app release reportedly comes with a brand new user interface, and it seems that the visual design is the only thing that actually changed in it.
Twitter for Android 5.0 Beta features inline images and videos, along with reordered menu items, such as notifications and messages. Furthermore, it comes with a navigation sidebar, a Rootzwiki post reads.
What remains to be seen is whether the updated application also sports performance improvements.
Given that this is only a beta release, various issues might still emerge when using the application, though Twitter is said to be actively working on resolving them. However, no info on when the final release will arrive has been provided as of now.
