Twitter 5.0.4 Displays Better Portrait Images on iOS

iPhone and iPad users reaping the benefits of Twitter Inc.’s official iOS client have a new version to download, if they want their portrait images to display better than ever.

According to the release notes accompanying the swift update released earlier today, Twitter 5.0.4 improves sizing of portrait images shown in tweet details.

The update also includes a number of patches. A bug where the app would freeze on user lists (such as people search results) has been squashed. Same goes for other bugs and crashes.

Twitter iOS is now fully compatible with the iPhone 5 and requires iOS 5 or later. The universal app is good for iPad and iPod touch as well.
