Twitter has just revamped its client for Android phones to make it more user-friendly and faster. The application’s homepage has been redesigned as well, along with the iOS version. It looks like the latest version of Twitter features four sections, Home, Connect, Discover and Me.

The Home section shows the tweets from yours followers, along with your own, and with Tweet details you will be able to see more info such as replies, retweets and embedded images.

The Discover section displays a more comprehensive collection of Twitter Stories and trends. You can also find a search feature and hashtags in this section as well. Here is where you will also receive suggestions to follow certain people, according to your previous choices.

The new Me section includes lists, favorites, direct messages, photos, as well as followers. This is where you can see any video or picture that you previously shared.

Twitter 3.0 for Android is now available as a free download from Softpedia and is fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up.
