With the latest update, the applications becomes a real Twitter client for Windows Phone smartphones, even though some of the more traditional features are still missing.
Software version 1.2.4555.39631 adds Notification feature with the following options:
- Mentions - Off, From people you follow, From anyone; - Favorited - Off, From people you follow, From anyone; - Retweets - Off, From people you follow, From anyone; - Direct messages; - New followers.
It is also worth mentioning that these notifications are received instantly, and users will be able to check it via Live Tiles. Twitter 1.5 for Windows Phone is now available as a free download via Marketplace.
