The developers at Eat Sleep Play and publisher Sony have announced that the launch date for the European version of Twisted Metal is now set for March 7, with the two companies confirming that players will have abilities to paint their own cars.

The game has been delayed for some time because of issues with localization and content edit.

David Jaffe, leader of the development team, has stated, “You can download the actual template our ESP artists use to paint the vehicles into your own paint program and have at it. Then upload the skin.”

He added, “You can go on the website and share skins with the world or lock/protect them so JUST your crew can have them.”

Twisted Metal arrives exclusively on the PlayStation 3 and will allow gamers to engage in multiplayer-oriented vehicular combat that includes over-the-top moves and a lot of options for customization.
