14 DAY TRIAL // Anna and Lucy DeCinque from Australia are twins but that’s not why they’re famous: they made international headlines earlier this year after they went public with their story of spending a fortune on plastic surgery to look identical. Their joint boyfriend is now speaking out as well.
Indeed, Lucy and Anna said from back then that they shared everything in life, including the job, a Facebook page, and a car. They were also dating the same man, a mechanic from Perth whose identity they would not reveal.
They were probably not ready yet or they only wanted him to speak out for himself – which is precisely what he’s doing right now, in an interview with Woman’s Day Magazine.
Ben Bryne has been dating the twins for a little over 18 months and, more importantly, they have been sharing the same house for the past 10 months as well. A threesome was never his idea of a perfect relationship, he tells the magazine, but now that he’s tried it with these two, he knows it’s just right.
“It was demanding in the beginning, but now I know better. It takes the spontaneity out of it sometimes, but everything has to be equal with these two. Whatever I do for one I have to do for the other, so it's a fine balance. My mates reckon it's a cool problem to have,” Ben says.
Perhaps the worst part about dating twins, let alone this pair striving to look and act like one person all the time, is that, in the house, whenever a problem or dispute arises, it’s always “two versus one.” Some men might call that the worst situation to find yourself in, but somehow Ben manages.
“On the bright side I get double the love,” he tells the magazine, after the twins explain that it takes a lot of energy to keep up with them in between the sheets.
Anna and Lucy have spent well over $200,000 (€146,514) so far on plastic surgery, including implants in their breasts and buttocks. They’ve also gotten their lips done and had facial surgery, all in a bid to look as much as the other as possible.
From the photo above, you can see that they’re impossible to tell apart, which is precisely what they were hoping for. In March, they were saying they were still planning to get more work done and, in the photos over at Woman’s Day Magazine, it looks as if they did just that because they look even more like each other than before.
There is a definite plastic look to them but we doubt that’s one of their main concerns. Funnily, they were inspired by the Kardashians when they decided to get augmentation on their breasts and backside.
