Your beauty routine might imply simple and cheap things like getting properly hydrated and a good moisturizing cream, but for a pair of identical twin sisters from Australia, Anna and Lucy DeCinque, it means paying whatever amount and doing whatever necessary to maintain their identical appearance. So far, the two have spent an estimated $200,000 (€143,947) on plastic surgery.

And they’re not even remotely close to stopping anytime soon.

So far, they have managed to continue to look identical, as the photo above can also confirm. They say they can’t even imagine their life apart, so they don’t understand why all this fuss around the fact that one can only tell them apart after a very close and extended inspection.

In fact, they’re happy when people can’t tell them apart because, they say in a new interview cited by the Daily Mail, that was the goal from the start. They had their first surgical intervention about 4 years ago, when they went from a BB cup size to a DD.

Anna and Lucy joke that they were inspired by reality stars the Kardashians in their decision to augment their natural assets. Since then, they’ve gotten a lot more work done, including fillers in their lips, which is perhaps the most obvious one.

“We like looking after ourselves, what girl doesn't?” they say. “They now undertake an extensive joint beauty regime to maintain their appearances. Once a week, Anna and Lucy take advantage of infrared saunas, microdermabrasion and skin peels to maintain the mirror image. They also follow the same exercise routine and keep an identical diet,” the Mail adds.

The idea behind all these efforts is to look the same, as if they were just one person. As you can see from the video embedded below, which is a TV interview from a couple of years ago, they were already living their life as one person, so it makes sense for them to want to look the same.

Anna and Lucy hold just one job for which they receive just one salary, they drive one car and have one Facebook account. They live in the same room and sleep in the same bed at their mother’s house and, as of late, they also have just one boyfriend.

After all, if they share everything else in life, they might as well share a lover too.

“We’re dating one boy at the moment. There are three people in our relationship. We’re sharing. It’s not really weird to us. We have one boyfriend and all three of us share the same bed. For guys, in their hearts and dreams, they want two girlfriends,” they say.

Back in 2010, when they gave the interview below, they didn’t quite have the same taste in men, since one liked fun guys, while the other was more into bad boys.
