TwinMOS announced its latest line of USB version 2.0 compliant flash memories, that according to the producer are built specifically for the Microsoft Windows Vista operating environment. The new line of flash drives, called USB2.0 Mobile Disk B1, feature unique design and convenience alongside ease of use. The Mobile Disk B1 comes in a small form factor, measuring
only 42.6×14.7×2.8mm and the entire family of products features a capless design, while their LED indicators are integrated into the units shell.

Even by modern day standards, the TwinMOS Mobile Disk B1 family features an impressive storage capacity, 8GB, especially considering its small and sleek package. In order to appeal more to users, the flash drives from TwinMOS' Mobile Disk B1 family of products come in fashionable colors like black, white, pastel yellow, pink, pastel blue and pastel green. As the entire flash drive is so small, it comes equipped with a silver coated chain that makes it easy for users to attach it to different other gadgets or mobile phones and key rings. Its tiny size and included chain lets users carry it everywhere, so the Mobile Disk B1 flash drives family is the perfect tool for transporting and sharing data.

According to its producer, TwinMOS, the Mobile Disk B1 family was designed with Microsoft Windows Vista in mind, even if it is compatible with all other Windows versions, MAC OSX and any Linux distribution with a kernel 2.4.x or newer. Because of the great enhancements in read and write performance concerning TwinMOS flash drives, the Mobile Disk B1 family is especially well suited for use paired with the Vista's ReadyBoost technology. For users that wish to protect their private or sensitive data, the whole Mobile Disk B1 drive can be password protected or encrypted, while allowing at the same time the existence of several logical partitions. While the TwinMOS' Mobile Disk B1 drive are compatible with the latest UBS version 2.0 specifications, they maintain backwards compatibility with the older USB version 1.0 and 1.1 standards in order to be usable even on older machines.
