14 DAY TRIAL // Twins Rina and Romy Chibani competed in this year´s Miss Lebanon beauty pageant, but only one of them took home the crown.
Rina was crowned Miss Lebanon, making her sister the first runner-up. This is the first time twins battle for the tittle in any Miss Universe edition. The sisters beat other 14 competitors, tert.am reports.
The competition took place on Saturday, September 29, at the Platea Theater in Jounieh. A jury of 9, including Miss Universe, Georgina Rizk, former Lebanese minister Ziad Baroud, and singer Nancy Ajram, made the final decision.
Rina will now be participating in the Miss Universe pageant, held in Las Vegas on December 19, 2012.
Other runner-ups were Christelle Lotfi, who came in third place, and Elsa Maria Stephan and Joanne Semaan followed.
