‘Twilight’s’ Nikki Reed Marries Paul McDonald

Nikki Reed and Paul McDonald knew from the first moment they saw each other that they were made to be together: he popped the question after 2 months of dating and, over the weekend, they also got married in a small and secret ceremony.

Word of the nuptials got out online hours ago, and a rep for the happy couple has already confirmed the happy news to Us Weekly.

“We couldn’t be happier! [We were] surrounded by our family and friends. We’re so glad this day has come!” the newlyweds gush in a brief statement to the same celebrity magazine.

Nikki and Paul met at the premiere of “Red Riding Hood” and clicked the very instant they were acquainted.

One month later, they were living together and, after another month, they announced their engagement, taking fans and the media completely by surprise.

“Nikki Reed and Paul McDonald said ‘I do’ Sunday at a private ranch in Malibu, Calif. in front of 100 guests, Reed’s rep confirms to Us Weekly exclusively,” the celebrity magazine writes.

For the time being, no other details are available but, considering how the two used to gush about each other, one can easily imagine they’re incredibly happy.

“I haven’t ever actually watched any of her movies. I don’t know too much of her career at all, but the person she is is super cool,” McDonald was saying about Nikki some time ago, as per the same publication.

At the time, he admitted he had no idea who Reed was because he hadn’t seen any of the “Twilight” movies.

“She’s amazing. She’s the perfect girl. We fit each other; when you know, you know, and she’s the one,” he was also saying of the woman who would soon become his wife.
