We've seen weird things marketed on eBay in the past, but this one could be considered the most useless thing that has ever been put on sale on the popular auction site. A user called Babak Gnajei posted an ad for selling some twigs he had found on the ground in an upmarket area of London.

What's even weirder is that the six twigs that were allegedly picked from the floor at De Beauvoir Square attracted some bids within minutes of being listed. The starting price for this item was 0.99p ($1.65 / €1.20), and it went up to £9.50 ($15.81 / €11.5) after receiving bids.

In the description of this odd “product,” the seller writes, “These twigs come from De Beauvoir Square, a part of London where a room in a shared house costs a minimum of £600 [$998 / €726] a month excluding bills, and a sandwich starts at £4.20 [$7 / €5.08], thus making these premium twigs and not every day rubbish.”

And to make the sticks more appealing to potential buyers, he adds that they have “unique personality,” Metro informs.

However, this is not the only weird thing put up for sale by Gnajei, who uses the seller name Whackychop, as he also offers Fresh Prince of Bel Air lyrics handwritten by him and a voucher with “a five year guarantee.”
