Tweetium continues to be one of the top Twitter clients, especially after MetroTwit developers announced end of support for their very own application, so releasing updates on a regular basis is quite an important thing for both the parent company and users.

The new version, labeled as 2.2.1 in the Windows Store, comes to fix the majority of bugs spotted in the application, including a crash affecting users who updated to 2.2 with a pinned list as their default view.

At the same time, the official release notes published in the store claim that the “default view is now updated correctly when dragging a tab to the first position (previously it was only updated when moved via the context menu move left/right commands).”

The feature lineup is still unchanged, so you get the same powerful features to post to Twitter from the Modern UI, while also benefitting from portrait, landscape and snap view mode support, photo uploading, user and tweet search options, and color schemes.

The application obviously offers support for all Windows 8.1 versions on the market, including those aimed at both desktop computers and tablets, so if you’re looking for a powerful Twitter client you better download Tweetium for Windows 8.1 right now to try out its features.
