If you’re looking in the Windows Store for a truly powerful Twitter client, chances are that you decide to give Tweetium a try, as this was, is, and will most likely be one of the top application in this particular software category.

That’s why the developing team is trying to release new versions and updates on a regular basis, thus implementing new options and bug fixes to make sure that everything works as planned.

Version 2.0.8 was officially launched today to fix a problem that could cause users to be prompted to relogin to Twitter without no apparent reason, which could obviously become very frustrating in many cases.

Tweetium on the other hand remains a more than decent application that has all the features you would ever need to access Twitter straight form the Modern UI, including an intuitive layout, photo upload support, rich embedding of several third-party media formats, multi-window support, color schemes, and username auto-complete.

Of course, support for both Windows 8.1 and Windows RT 8.1 is being offered, so you can download Tweetium even if you’ve already purchased a Surface RT tablet running Microsoft’s tablet-oriented operating system.

Just keep in mind that the app is not available for free, but with a shareware license that can be purchased for $2.99 (€2.10) on either platform.
