The awesome Tweetbot has been relaunched as a fresh application, bearing a 3.0 version number and a major design overhaul, complete with some new features.

Tweetbot 3 has been completely rewritten for iOS 7, which makes it no surprise that the software now requires the latest version of Apple’s mobile OS to run.

Users also get native Push Notifications, and Mute Filters to block messages without unfollowing the trolls that sent them (including the ability to mute services, hashtags, people, and even keywords).

The new Tweetbot syncs timeline positions, direct message read statuses, and mute filters between devices via Tweetmarker and Apple’s own iCloud.

The last 2 tabs in Tweetbot are now customizable, while unused tabs are accessible more easily now.

Services like Pocket, Instapaper, Readability, CloudApp, Droplr, and others are now integrated with Tweetbot. Users can save drafts, attach photos and videos, manage lists, add locations and POIs, and do a whole lot more with the all-new Tweetbot 3.

“Tweetbot is a full-featured Twitter client that's fast, beautiful, and redesigned from the ground up for iOS7,” says Tapbots.

“Tweetbot has slimmed down to look and feel more like iOS7 and has also gained a lot of charm and speed in the process. Prepare to fall in love with your favorite Twitter client all over again.”

The app continues to sell for the same price – $2.99/€2.69 – for iPhone and iPod touch devices. The iPad edition remains at version 2.8.5 with an identical price tag.

Version 3.0 works with iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s, and iPod touch 5th-generation. The new (version 3.0) client does work on iPad 2, iPad 3, iPad 4, iPad mini, iPad mini 2, and iPad Air, but not natively.
