Tweetbot 2.6 iOS Now Supports “Header Image”

Twitter’s new Header Image enhancement is now usable in Tapbots’ Tweetbot, the most popular Twitter client for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. The native tablet implementation is not touched by this update.

A full-featured iOS Twitter client “with a lot of personality,” Tweetbot offers multiple timelines, smart gestures, native push notifications, customizable navigation, and support for multiple services like Pocket, Instapaper, Readability, CloudApp and Droplr.

Tweetbot 2.6 brings the much-needed support for Twitter’s new header image, as well as the ability to create custom locations.

Various other fixes and improvements have been incorporated in this update as well.

Tweetbot 2.6 is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad and requires iOS 5.0 or later. The app has been optimized for iPhone 5. Note that version 2.6 is only available for iPhone and iPod touch at the moment.
