Although totally unexpected, a new version of the new TweetDeck is now available for download.
TweetDeck 1.2 has emerged without even a tweet on the official account of the application or a proper announcement.
Actually, the support team seems to still be on the Christmas and New Year’s break, since the last post is dated December 23, 2011.
It looks like any information about this new release is too precious to be revealed to the public, as the only detail available is that modifications target security and stability issues.
Given the huge version jump from 1.0 to 1.2, we had a look at the desktop application, but nothing was out of the ordinary.
The message length is the same, you benefit from the same set of services for link shortening and picture upload, and there is no support for an additional social networking service.
