If you're looking for an app that lets you tweak your Windows 8.1 Update computer, search no more because Tweak-8 has just received an update that brings full support for this new OS version.

According to the official release notes, Tweak-8 1.0 Build 1040 should work flawlessly on the new Windows 8.1 Update rolled out by Microsoft last month, so all its features can now be used by everyone to tweak and optimize the performance of their new computers.

The feature lineup remains unchanged, so all options that were available in previous builds are still there, including visual tweaks, utilities, an auto optimizer, network and Internet optimizations, and miscellaneous options. Of course, plenty of other tools to boost performance are also offered, including utilities to remove invalid shortcuts and unnecessary files, repair registry and customize OEM details.

Of course, support for other versions of modern Windows is still being offered, but thanks to full compatibility with Windows 8.1 Update, everyone can now download Tweak-8 1.0 Build 1040 on their devices.

Unfortunately, the app isn't offered free of charge, but a 14-day trial is still being offered. During this testing period, repairing registry errors is disabled, and so is cleaning of unnecessary items.
