Turtle Beach has prepared two new wireless headphone sets, called i60 and i30 and sold as part of the iSeries.
The former is the high-end one with Wi-Fi and 7.1 DTS surround sound, complete with adjustable speaker angles and equalizer presets.
It uses dual-band Wi-Fi (uncompressed audio without interference) and can connect via Bluetooth 4.0 as well (dual pairing supported). Even the digital signal processor (DSP) is fully programmable.
The i60 is supposed to be the “only headset that can connect simultaneously to a Mac and an iOS device” at once (to, say, take calls while playing a game).
Meanwhile, the i30 only has Bluetooth 4.0 and, while it does have broad device support (PCs, Macs, game consoles, tablets, phones), it lacks dual connectivity.
The Turtle Beach i30 and i60 headsets have prices of $399.99 / €399.99 and $299.99 / €299.99.
