The Ankara Deputy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has submitted an indictment against 10 members of the renowned RedHack group to Ankara’s 13th High Criminal Court.

The prosecutor is seeking jail sentences that range between 8.5 years and 24 years for the suspects accused of numerous crimes, including participating in a terrorist organization, illegally accessing restricted information systems, and illegally obtaining personal information and confidential documents.

A total of 10 members have been accused, three of which - Duygu Kerimoğlu, Alaattin Karagenç and Uğur Cihan Oktulmuş – are already detained, Today’s Zaman informs.

Earlier this year, the group has been added by Turkish authorities to the list of terrorist organizations after the hackers breached several government agencies, including the National Police and the Foreign Ministry.

After Turkey instated its Cyber Security Institution, the hackers boasted about having friends among the organization’s 150 engineers.
