Hackers of a group called the Tunisian Hackers Team have announced a new campaign against the United States. Dubbed TheWeekOfHorror, the operation’s goal is to get the US to call back its military from the “Muhammad lands.”

The operation is scheduled to start in July 2014. However, the hackers claim they’ve already gained access to the details of 12,000 First BanCorp customers. While they haven’t demonstrated this claim, they have managed to deface the official Colorado website of the PointWest Community Bank.

The hacktivists say they’ll continue to attack not only the US’s financial sector, but also computer systems at airports.

The hackers urge the US government to get in touch with them on Twitter before they put their plan into action. The group has taken part in OpIsrael, a campaign supported by several hacktivist groups, so it’s possible that other crews will join them in this anti-US operation.

This isn’t the first time when hackers allegedly from Tunisia threaten the United States. Around one year ago, a group called the Tunisian Cyber Army announced a campaign dubbed OpBlackSummer. At the time, they claimed to have breached several government websites.

Check out the video statement published over the weekend by the Tunisian Hackers Team. The message is addressed to the president of the US, the DHS, the FBI and the CIA.
