14 DAY TRIAL // Rivaling Apple’s own iTunes Radio, as well as adjacent music streaming services Pandora and Spotify, TuneIn Radio has some great news for its customer base and newcomers alike. Starting today, TuneIn Radio Pro is free to download.
TuneIn doesn’t say how long this offer will last or whether its generosity means TuneIn Radio Pro will never be a paid app again, but one thing is certain. The TuneIn Radio Pro app used to sell for $3.99 / €3.69 and now that price has been slashed to $0 / €0.

With TuneIn, you basically get to broadcast music you love to a global audience of over 50 million monthly active users, as well as build an army of followers with whom you can engage.
You can use the app to access over 100,000 real radio stations and more than four million podcasts. The streams come from every part of the globe, with categories spanning sports, news and, of course, music. Using TuneIn's tools you can even monetize your audience.
Not coincidentally, TuneIn Radio Pro version 6.0 was released today with an updated look and feel, station suggestions (with shows and categories to follow based on your interests), and past favorites now become the stations/shows you are following (see your Profile tab).
Every user’s personalized feed brings live updates from the stations, shows, and people they track, and the Explore page can be used to discover new stations and shows. A TuneIn Echo feature lets you share with others what you are listening. Users are encouraged to create a unique profile “so that your friends can follow you and what you are following on TuneIn.”
TuneIn Radio Pro supports almost a dozen languages, including English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, and Traditional Chinese.
To download TuneIn Radio Pro, you’ll need iOS 7.0 or later, which limits device compatibility to iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPad second generation, iPad third generation, iPad fourth generation, iPad Air, iPad mini, iPad mini with Retina display, and iPod touch fifth generation.
