The membrane keyboard has 10 dedicated macro keys, 5 on each side

Tt eSports wanted to create a gaming keyboard that was unlike all the others that have come out over the past few months, so it decided to go back to its roots.

Most gaming keyboards nowadays use switches, mechanical components that each key has underneath and that provide them with the tensile strength, click noise, and haptic feedback such peripherals are known for.

The Challenger GO from Tt eSports, however, does not use such things. Instead, it uses a good, old-fashioned rubber membrane, although an admittedly thin one, with a very short travel distance.

Basically, you barely need to push down on the buttons for the command to be sent to the keyboard. People with especially light and quick fingers might be quite appreciative of the idea.

In addition to the normal keys and the numpad, the Challenger GO possesses five dedicated macro keys on each side edge, making for a total of 10. You can also store four profiles for them, leading to a total of 40 programmable macros.

Add to that the blue LED backlighting and the side panel lighting accents and you have a full deck. In fact, you can even adjust the brightness of the backlight to 5 levels, even a pulsing effect if you wish.

The Tt eSports Challenger GO ships with removable cables and has a 2-port USB hub along the top edge. All for the price of $60 / €45. Sales will start in August.
