It seems like the number of MMORPG and RTS gaming keyboards is steadily on the rise as Tt eSPORTS, Thermaltake's gaming gear division, just announced their very own solution build for such types of games, dubbed the Challenger Ultimate.
Boasting the same 256 back light design that seems to have already become standard in the gaming keyboard world, Tt eSPORTS still manages to come with some pretty innovative new features of its own, such as the four levels of illumination available or that crazy hand cooling fan, placed right on top of the keyboard.
Moving further down the specification list we find that
Tt eSPORTS' keyboard also comes with 14 macro keys and six multimedia keys, 64KB of internal memory being added in order to save all your game profiles and macro keys.
Speaking of macros, the Challenger Ultimate can save 70 such key combinations as well as 5 game profiles.
Together with its anti-ghosting capabilities, the keyboard comes with eight additional keycaps, W,A,S,D and four directional arrow keys.
As it's usually the case with such
gaming keyboards, the Challenger Ultimate connect to your computer via a USB port, the 2m braided cable featuring a smart cable management system.
Although it doesn't seem like much, this type of system is really necessary if you want to reduce cable clutter on your desktop especially if you think about using the two USB ports or audio jacks for Mic. in and SP out found on the keyboard, or the additional gold-plated USB port.
As far as pricing and availability go, these haven't been announced until now but I expect the Challenger Ultimate to pack quite a hefty price tag, making you reach deep into your pockets for that extra bit of coolness that comes associated with owning a hand-cooling fan packed keyboard.
