A witness claimed that the friend of Tamerlan Tsarnaev who was killed in a shootout with the FBI was interviewed by agents on Tuesday.

Khusn Taramiv tells WESH that both him and Ibragim Todashev were questioned in connection to the bombs set at the Boston Marathon. The pair also felt like they were being followed and they feared getting hurt.

Todashev was arrested after a brawl at Premium Outlets on May 4, during which he allegedly argued violently with a man and his son over a parking spot.

Taramiv described being brought in for questioning with his friend for three hours, and hearing agents say that they would be keeping Todashev longer.

"(The FBI) took me and my friend, (Ibragim Todashev). They were talking to us, both of us, right? And they said they need him for a little more, for a couple more hours, and I left, and they told me they’re going to bring him back. They never brought him back," he describes.

A source said that he was fatally shot in self-defense after attacking an FBI agent. The shooting took place at Windhover Condominiums on Kirkman Road in the area near Conroy Road.

"He felt inside he was going to get shot. [...] I told him, 'Everything is going to be fine, don't worry about it.' He said, 'I have a really bad feeling,'" Taramiv adds.

As reported previously, Taramiv, of Orlando, met the older Tsarnaev brother because they were both mixed martial arts fighters.

He has no criminal record, and his police file only states that, in October of last year, he was stopped for speeding and failing to put on a seatbelt.

"I was completely shocked. I still can’t believe it, you know what I mean?" Taramiv described after hearing of the killing.
