The body of Boston bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev has been interred, following numerous debates on what state and specific city would accept the burial.

The last time I wrote about the never-ending conundrum of whether or not Tsarnaev should be allowed burial on US soil, authorities were passing the buck and hoping that someone else would take him.

According to the Boston Herald, authorities have revealed that Tsarnaev's body is definitely in the ground, in an undisclosed location.

Officials in Worcester, Massachusetts, have held a press conference proudly announcing that the bomber had not been buried there.

“As a result of our public appeal for help, a courageous and compassionate individual came forward to provide the assistance needed to properly bury the deceased.

“The body is no longer in the city of Worcester and is now entombed,” Worcester police Sgt. Kerry Hazelhurst states.

[Update, May 9 2013]: Tsarnaev might be buried in Hamden, Connecticut, after a Yale Divinity graduate turned over his burial plot to him, WTNH reports.
