Some more Britney news. No, no, this time (fortunately - I think) there's no more "Britney doing drugs in front of her kids" - not that it's not true (potentially, of course) but really, enough Brit Brit drama for the day. The fact is, the troubled popwreck may be heading in a totally different direction than down the drain, as we all expected her to, and there are some more bits and pieces connected to her life that we can reveal in what I know is the third Britney article today - but it's definitely no one's fault that the pop tart has an appetite for trouble - and we have an appetite for her.

So, where else can Brit be heading if not down, down, down? Well, she might be heading for rehab, and it looks like someone in her entourage - maybe her new lawyer, maybe what's left of her friends, maybe the members of her family with which she's still in touch - has finally done what should have been done a long time ago, namely take charge of her life and make the decisions she would never have been able to make for herself.

"She has said she'll go again" - says a source - "But everyone is worried she won't go at the last minute". Well, I'm sure there are ways of persuading Britney to do things, even if those ways involve threats and blackmail. No, not THAT kind of blackmail - but the last time she checked herself into rehab, her former husband is said to have threatened her to sue for full custody of the kids, and that's what made her finally try to seek help. On the other hand, if recent evidence is to be taken into account, Britney's stay at the promises clinic in Malibu was a disaster - seeing how shortly after she got out she overdosed and almost killed herself right before she was due on stage in Anaheim.

Also, Brit is said to have left LA and gone to Atlanta for the weekend, and there is no news that she is back - yet. Also, remember those rumors about Nick Crater from barely breathing, soon-to-be-back Backstreet Boys allegedly claiming he was dating Britney? Well, it seems that not even a has-been pop idol wants to be associated with the Britney mess. "I don't even know Britney, and at this time, with all that is going on in her life, I certainly wouldn't want to get involved", Carter apparently stated. "The last thing I need in my life is more drama, but I do wish her the very best outcome with everything". Yes, yes, everyone's wishing Brit the best - only I'm not sure they all mean it, and I'm certainly not sure if the trainwreck in questions actually gives a damn. Probably not. Stay tuned for more Britney news - there's bound to be some every moment now.
