Business executive and TV mogul Donald Trump was already written off many people's "favorite TV personality" lists, but now the controversial businessman and infamous entrepreneur seems to have hit a new low in his endeavor to make reality TV appealing - and fill his pockets in the process as well. Trump's camp is currently working on what is being widely called a "My Fair Lady-style" new MTV reality show, and decided that noting would serve best to attract public interest than adding a little political controversy into the mix. As a result, Trump has extended the hand of friendship just about the most controversial person in the US at the time - in the dirtiest sense of the word: infamous call girl Ashley Alexander Dupr�, the one who brought about the downfall of New York Governor Eliot Spitzer.

Truth be told, if anyone had any doubts about the fact that reality TV producers would stop at nothing to cash in on the sometimes obsessive and morbidly intrusive public interest, Trump's latest little stunt can dispel them. Asking a high-priced prostitute to join a reality show is not only fame-whoring of the worst kind, but also an indirect nod to the fact that these days, anything goes. Instead of condemning prostitution, Trump and his minions are in fact making an F-list celebrity out of a gold-digger with no obvious talents than the one best known to her clients.

The show in question was already picked up by MTV and is set to have at least eight-hour-long episodes. It is reportedly loosely based on a British show called "Ladette to Lady", and in some press releases it is referred to as "Lady or a Tramp". The new MTV series is set to feature a group of 15 women, who have made a habit out of hard partying and behaving in a most un-lady-like manner and who will be sent to a boarding school-style facility where they will learn to become true ladies. You can already imagine the drama, the lesbian rumors and the bitching around. Yes, that's really the perfect environment for an infamous prostitute with a fame-whoring wish. Well done, Mr. Trump.
