So this happened: season 6 of “True Blood” wrapped up last night and might have just broken the hearts of millions of fans from all over the world. Now’s the time to stop reading if you haven’t seen the finale yet.

*Major spoilers ahead.

Sookie’s lover met his end on the episode, but not before showing his true colors. Many will probably miss Warlow (Rob Kazinsky), but most fans of the show can’t even imagine it without Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) who, by the looks of it, also perished.

“Too bad his death seemingly triggered Eric’s, who was just minding his own business while sunbathing in Sweden,” E! News writes.

The pic above is a still of Eric as he burst into flames as a stake went through Warlow’s heart, because he lost his powers of walking in daylight.

“Yes, True Blood totally went there and bought property. Maybe? Hard to say if Eric is 100 percent dead as the show then jumped ahead six months… and never showed us the tall, blond and handsome vamp again. Gah!” E! continues.

Gah indeed.

Did you see the finale? If so, what did you think? Would you applaud the creators for really killing Eric off or would you prefer if it was just a stunt?
