The fact that iPod nano has amazing sales is no longer a secret and last week; several stores have already announced that they ran out of black iPod nanos.
Unfortunately, the sales were accompanied by unwanted events, as more and more iPod nano owners found out
that the new player's display is prone to scratches and in some situations, to some cracks of unexplainable nature.
Reports on these flaws have started to appear on iPod nano sites, like
www.flawedmusicplayer.com and an increasing number of clients want their scratched iPods replaced.
These reports come from the US and from UK, and some iPod nano owners claim that the scratches have rendered their players unusable.
Apple's promoting campaign says that this model may be transported in the pocket, but those who complained said that their displays even got scratched when the metal parts of the headphones made contact with the display.
Apple didn't make any official statements on the subject.
