Ascaron Entertainment and Focus Home Interactive have every reason to be happy since they've announced that by the end of the week - on the 24th
of April, to be more specific - they would host a great event presenting three of the most anticipated adventure titles of the year, all of which are going to be released in a few months.
The first title, Ascaron, will present to the public in London the classic point and click horror comedy classic adventure everybody's waiting to get their hands on since... like forever:
A Vampyre Story. The game presents the story of Mona De Lafitte who is captured by vampire baron Shrowdy Von Kiefer. Accompanied by her mischievous bat Froderick, Mona must escape the evil Baron's clutches, facing a number of puzzling challenges on her way. In order to return to Paris and follow her dream of becoming a famous opera singer, Mona must learn to take advantage of her newly acquired vampire abilities. This will be a humorous adventure like the good old ones, that will be nothing but magic for fans worldwide. A Vampyre Story will be released in September.
The second title that is going to be presented in London is another horror one (this time, for real), Dracula: Origin. The game, inspired by the world created by Bram Stoker, will take the player from his home in London to Dracula's castle in Transylvania as the feared vampire hunter Van Helsing. You will encounter challenging puzzles, explore a lot of gothic sceneries and eventually stop the Count before he manages to raise the dead. Dracula: Origin is going to hit the stands soon, on the 23rd of May.
Finally, the last title to be presented by Ascaron is Sherlock Holmes: Nemesis, a puzzling adventure whose plot is built around famous burglar Arsene Lupin who comes in London with only one goal in mind: to defy Scotland Yard and the most famous detective in the world, Sherlock Holmes. Of course, the detective can't fail and he will eventually solve this mystery, too. With your help. Sherlock Holmes: Nemesis will be released on the 9th of May.
So, with these titles ready to be released and shown to the public in London, it's clear that Ascaron will turn into the most beloved company by classic adventure game fans - at least for A Vampyre Story.
