Cerulean Studios has just announced that their Trillian for Android application is now available for download via the Android Market as version 1.0.

The application can easily prove one of the nicest ways to chat with friends and family, the development team notes, adding that it aims at keeping the beta release of the solution live, in addition to having the final flavor added to the Android Market.

“We are pleased to announce that Trillian for Android, the best way to chat with your friends everywhere, is now available on the Android Market,” a recent post on Cerulean Studios blog reads.

The mobile application was made available for purchase via the Android Market at only $4.99, something that might not appeal too much to those who are accustom to having chat applications available for free.

However, it seems that the company is considering the release of a free version of the app as well, and that it might unveil it in the not too far future.

“We’ve also been getting a large number of requests for a way to distribute our mobile clients for free if you’ve already purchased Trillian Pro; we are investigating possibilities and hope to have something solidified in the coming months,” the company notes.

As stated above, the development team of Trilian for Android also announced that the beta build of the app will live, which means that all those who helped testing the app would be able to continue to use it.

“A note for beta testers: we have no plans to disable the beta build. If you’ve been helping us test Trillian you can continue to use it, although it won’t receive further feature updates,” the company announced.

While the final flavor of the application can be downloaded from the Android Market, the beta release is available for download from Softpedia too, via this link.
