All-in-one computer systems are certainly becoming an increasingly popular segment, as they can provide users with the necessary computing experience in a more convenient package. Several companies have recently made their debut into this growing market, enabling users to choose among a series of different designs. On that note, Santa Ana, California-based TriGem USA has just announced the introduction of its new 22-inch Averatec D1005 all-in-one (AIO) computer system. The new product further expands the company's AIO PC offering, coming as a considerable choice for business or
home users.

“Our latest offering was designed with the college student and business professional in mind,” said Henry Hewitt, vice president of sales at TriGem USA. “Its sleek design and small footprint make it an attractive system to sit on top of your desk without taking up a lot of space. As people downsize their office space and college students head back to the dorm, saving valuable desktop real estate is top of mind.”

According to the company, its new all-in-one desktop PC has been designed to provide users with the performance of an Intel Pentium dual-core E5200 processor, clocked at 2.5GHz and coupled with 3GB of memory and a 320GB hard drive. Additional features include the built-in wireless 802.11n networking solution, as well as the Gigabit Ethernet port, the Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium operating system and the full-sized USB keyboard and mouse included in the package.

The 22-inch WXGA display is helped by the system's integrated Intel X4500HD graphics chip, helping users enjoy a full multimedia experience on their Averatec all-in-one PC. There's also a 2.0MP webcam and a slot-loading DVD Super-Multi optical drive, all within a system that comes with an MSRP of US$799. As far as availability goes, the company announced that the new 22-inch AIO PC was already available from a number of online retailers.
