Trend Micro Partners with Westcon Group for European Reach

Trend Micro Incorporated, a leader in network antivirus, content security software and services and leading added-value distributor Westcon Group have announced a pan-European partnership focused exclusively around Westcon Group's distribution of Cisco's 5500 series Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA). Trend Micro provides content security for the ASA 5500 series family offering customized and comprehensive protection against a variety of security threats.

Westcon will primarily capitalize on the extensive Cisco expertise within its Comstor division to distribute the Cisco ASA 5500 Series Content Security and Control Security Services Module (CSC-SSM) across Europe. The module provides universal threat prevention and content control at the network edge, delivering antivirus, anti-spyware, anti-spam, anti-phishing, URL blocking and filtering and content filtering services from Trend Micro. These content security offerings also complement the Cisco ASA 5500 Series' other unified threat services including advanced Firewall, Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), and Virtual Private Network (VPN).
