Trend Micro has opened a new Global Operations Headquarters in the Dallas suburb of Irving, Texas. The new headquarters will house threat research, legal, finance, customer support, marketing, and other business units.

For now, 220 employees will work from these offices, but the number might increase in the future. The launch of the new operations base coincides with the company’s 25th anniversary.

“Although we have become one of the largest companies in our industry, we maintain an entrepreneurial spirit that is deeply committed to making the world safe for sharing digital information,” said Eva Chen, CEO of Trend Micro.

“With our new base of operations in the United States, we are further demonstrating a relentless dedication to customers as we enter a new era after our first quarter century in business. We are excited that 'Trenders' from all around the world will experience the vibrant business community the Dallas-Fort Worth area has to offer.”

In addition to the new headquarters, Trend Micro has also announced an educational grant program to support K-12 public schools and districts across the United States.
