Sometimes, they say, you have to live life like a star to feel like one. While we probably couldn’t afford to have countless helpers around the house or to commute to work in private jets, we could at least try to travel as celebrities do and, this way, discover parts of the world that we wouldn’t know otherwise. Vivica A. Fox, for instance, loves Paris and Beijing, but wouldn’t give up Miami for anything in the world, as she tells USA Today in an interview.

Speaking with the publication, the television actress and producer reveals that she has traveled a lot, but some things will never change about her experiences. One of her favorite locations is Miami, which she tries to visit as often as she gets the chance, but she’s also partial to Paris and Beijing, having visited the latter while training for her part in “Kill Bill: Vol. 1.”

When asked about her favorite vacation destination, the star admits that it is France’s capital, Paris. “I went there for Fashion Week last year and stayed at the Four Seasons George V.” As for what caused an impression with Vivica in Paris, she tells it was a combination of historical places, the food and the people.

“What I loved about Paris is there’s so much history that we don’t get here in America, with the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe and the statues. It’s a beautiful, historical and romantic place – and excellent restaurants. I had been to Paris about 12 years ago and went to Buddha Bar (restaurant), which has this big old Buddha that sits there. I remember when I first saw it. I was like, ‘That’s got to be the largest Buddha I’ve ever seen.’ It was good to go back.” Fox further explains.

However, the one place Vivica is always happy to return to is St. Croix in the US Virgin Islands. She usually stays at the Carambola, where the rooms come with patios from where one can watch either the sunset or the sunrise, depending on the mood, while facing the ocean and the mountains. A destination that makes for the most peaceful, calm and extremely relaxing holiday, the star reveals she would recommend it to anyone before anything else.

If these two locations happen to be out of fans’ (financial) reach, there’s always Miami, the actress adds, an extremely beautiful place that can provide entertainment for absolutely all types of guests. Even more, she also has a few recommendations for all those choosing Miami as a holiday destination. “When you go to Miami, go to Prime One Twelve or Prime Italian. They’re right across the street from one another. At Prime 112, I recommend the chicken dinner with cream of corn and sautéed spinach. At Prime Italian, I recommend the sea bass with spinach.” Vivica A. Fox concludes by saying.
