Transmission, an Open Source cross-platform BitTorrent client that strives to be as simple as possible, is now at version 2.81.
The new build of Transmission, 2.81, comes with a large number of fixes and changes, but also with a few improvements.
Highlights of Transmission 2.81:
• A bug introduced in the 2.80 version of Transmission that showed the incorrect status for some peers has been corrected; • The announce errors returned by some trackers have been improved; • A compilation error on Solaris has been corrected; • Minor memory leaks have been corrected; • OnlyShowIn?= has been removed from the .desktop file; • The systemd script that starts Transmission after the network has been initialized has been improved; • Better compression of png files has been achieved for the Web Client.
