Transmission, an Open Source cross-platform BitTorrent client that strives to be as simple as possible, is now at version 2.74.

The new version of Transmission, 2.74, comes with a large number of fixes and changes, but also a few improvements.

Highlights of Transmission 2.74:

• A bug that prevented the IPv6 addresses from being saved in dht.dat has been fixed;
• The handling of magnet links that contain 'tr.x=' parameters has been improved;
• Filtering of addresses used for uTP peer connections has been added;
• The detection of whether a peer supports uTP connections has been fixed;
• A multi-file selection bug has been repaired;
• A bug where the upload and download arrows and rates would not appear for downloading torrents has been fixed;
• A bug that occurred when displaying the tracker list has been fixed.
