Chris Tina Foxx Bruce is not your average bodybuilder, even though she's now eyeing a comeback in sports. Aged 42, Chris was a male bodybuilder, is now a woman, and is hoping to achieve the same kind of performances competing in female competitions.

In a recent interview, Chris recalls the amazing journey he's undertaken so far. He still has male reproductive organs, but that's not stopping her from competing in a female competition, which is cheating, according to his direct rivals.

The video below will show you Chris' reasoning for making a comeback in bodybuilding.

“If you think about it, I am the ultimate bodybuilder. Because that is what bodybuilding is about. It's taking your body and transforming it, or building it, into something,” he says.

Chris is a father of two and got divorced from her high school sweetheart in 2007. Chris used to cross-dress behind her back and is convinced that had a lot to do with the demise of the marriage.

In 2008, Chris started the transgender process, undergoing breast augmentation surgery and facial plastic surgery.

Chris is already enlisted in the Border States Classic bodybuilding competition from San Diego and believes she can be for fitness and bodybuilding what Chaz Bono, Cher's son (born daughter) was for television.

This year, Bono was a competitor on ABC's Dancing With the Stars, becoming the first transgender contestant ever to be included on the show. He was eliminated after 6 weeks.

Chris is even prepared to face prejudice by entering in the competition, saying she knows she may be “at a disadvantage because they may not like a transgender person competing. I accept that going in.”

However, organizers don't test for drugs and don't test to establish gender. It's the other contestants Chris should worry about, because they believe she has the upper hand on them by training and building muscle as a man and then enlisting in a female competition.
