It has become some sort of a tradition for any big summer blockbuster movie from Hollywood to receive a video game tie-in, in order to generate an even bigger profit for all of the companies involved in the big project.

Such is the case with the upcoming Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, which will receive, courtesy of Activision, a video game in which the famous transforming robots will duke it out in various settings found in the movie. The company has just unveiled recently the list of robots that will appear in the game, along with the cast of voice actors who will be lending their talent for the characters in the game.

On the virtual side of the game, we will see, alongside the already famous Optimus Prime or Megatron, other machines like Long Haul, Sideways or Ratchet. Here is the complete list of robots organized by the faction that they belong to:

AUTOBOTS: Optimus Prime Ironhide Breakaway Bumblebee Ratchet Aerialbot (Multiplayer-exclusive) Protectobot (Multiplayer-exclusive)

DECEPTICONS: Starscream Sideways Grindor Long Haul Megatron Seeker (Multiplayer-exclusive)

The company has also unveiled that actors Megan Fox and Shia LeBeouf will lend their voices to the human characters in the game, and Peter Cullen and Frank Welker will be the voices of Optimus Prime and Megatron. Other notable names in the cast include Mark Ryan, Jess Harnell or John Di Maggio.

“Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen features an extensive line-up of film actors, along with the voice talent that fans will recognize from the classic animated series,” said Rob Kostich, head of marketing for licensed properties, Activision Publishing, Inc. “The diverse cast allowed us to not only capture the epic storyline from the film, but also seamlessly expand the fiction to create a unique and authentic Transformers experience that fans of all ages will enjoy.”

Look forward to the game on June 24, when the movie will also arrive in cinemas around the world.
