14 DAY TRIAL // Developer Edge of Reality and publisher Activision announce that the upcoming Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark will include a new version of the Escalation mode which will come complete with a number of new features for gamers to explore.
The two companies state, "Unlock over forty playable Transformers and team up with your friends to hold the line against swarms of enemy 'bots."
Escalation in Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark is basically a horde mode which allows gamers to choose their favorite characters and then join others on a variety of maps, switching between car and robot form while using power-ups and other resources to stop groups of enemies.
The new title in the Transformers video game series will serve as a companion to the Age of Extinction movie and will allow gamer to side with either the Autobots or the Decepticons.
The game will use a classic third person shooter set of mechanics.
Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark will be launched on June 24 in the United States and three days later in Europe on the Xbox One from Microsoft, the older 360, the PlayStation 4 from Sony, the PS3, the Wii U from Nintendo, the 3DS handheld and the PC.
