Transformers: Fall of Cybertron Showcases Metroplex

The development team at High Moon Studios and publisher Activision Blizzard have released yet another trailer for the upcoming Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, focusing on the character of Metroplex.

Metroplex is the robotic embodiment of Autobot City and is usually described as dwarfing in size even the biggest Autobots.

It’s not clear whether the coming game will also include Trypticon, the transforming base of the Decepticons.

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is interesting because it is not linked to any movie set in the same universe, which gives the development team working on it the ability to shape its own story and include a number of new mechanics and concepts.

The game will include the Dinobots, which have so far not appeared in any other Transformers modern media product.

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is set to be released on the PC, the PlayStation 3 from Sony and the Xbox 360 from Microsoft on August 28 in North America and three days later in Europe.
