Transformers: Autobots is a video game made for the Nintendo DS by Vicarious Visions, and published by Activision on June 19, 2007, in North America, and July 20, that same year, in Europe, as part of a tie-in with the first Transformers movie directed by Michael Bay, using multiple locations and items from the blockbuster film.
Transformers: Autobots is just one of the two versions of the game released for the DS, with the other focusing on the Decepticons, the antagonists of the whole series, and sees some of the most iconic robots appear, including Bumblebee, Optimus Prime or Ironhide, who battle against their enemies in locations like the Hoover Dam, Casino Strip or The Arctic.
The current unlockables and hints apply only for the Autobots version of Transformers for the DS, not for the Decepticons one.
UNLOCKABLES
Armageddon mode Successfully complete the game. In this mode everything that is destroyed explodes.
Maintenance Successfully complete the game.
Funky Bus Connect to the Allspark Wars server.
Long Horn Get 250 WiFi tokens.
Psycho Cars Get 500 WiFi tokens.
Gunner Get 750 WiFi tokens.
Unlimited energy Get 1,000 WiFi tokens. Alternately, get a 100% completion.
Transport Get 1,500 WiFi tokens.
Super Jump Get 2,000 WiFi tokens.
Skydive Get 2,500 WiFi tokens. Alternately, use the Nintendo DS Download Station at a Target store.
Top-down view Get 3,000 WiFi tokens.
Play as any Autobot in Overworld Successfully complete the game. When you choose an Overworld at the title screen, a character selection screen will appear.
Health regeneration Reach level 20 with a custom Transformer to unlock health regeneration.
HINTS
Restore health and remove wanted level Press Start in Free Play mode. Select the "Vehicle Form" option and confirm the choice, the press B to resume the game. Your health will be restored and wanted level will be removed.
