Michael Bay has chosen the Super Bowl 2014 to premiere the first ever teaser trailer for his fourth “Transformers” film, “Age of Extinction.” You can see it in full and in HD below, embedded at the end of this post.

“Transformers: Age of Extinction,” aka the movie Bay said he’d never make because he was done with the “Transformers” franchise, has replaced the entire original cast (Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox, who had been fired since before the third started shooting) with new faces.

It is meant as a reboot and not as a sequel per se, and will star Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz and Jack Reynor. You can see all three of them in the first teaser.

Something else that you get to see in the video is a first look at the Dinobots and, as is customary with any Bay movie, insane levels of destruction and a hefty serving of action scenes. Also, explosions!

Notice the typically Bay-ish score and you will see that, while the director promised us something else with this fourth installment, we’re probably in for a ride similar to the other three. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing if you’re a fan.

“Age of Extinction” will be out in theaters in June this year.
