Much like “X-Men: Days of Future Past,” the upcoming “Transformers: Age of Extinction” is also getting a massive propaganda viral campaign. Last week, a video was released to raise awareness of what the Battle of Chicago meant for us and, since then, Paramount has been pushing viral posters regularly.

You can see 4 of them, some of the most impressive, included in this blog post. The aforementioned video, which plays out like a news broadcast, is included below.

The idea is that, after the Battle of Chicago in “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” (2011), humanity identified the Transformers as the villains, even those who helped them in that disastrous fight against the Decepticons.

So, after the Transformers sacrificed everything to protect our planet, they have become outcast, hunted down and exterminated.

The posters, which look incredibly real, urge us to “Keep Earth Human,” but also to report whatever strange activity we see to the proper authorities. One such propaganda material includes a phone number, which I assume is legit.

All of them send you to TransformersAreDangerous.com, where more propaganda material is available, including more posters and newspapers clippings on how the Transformers ruined the world and must be banished from it in return.

“Transformers: Age of Extinction” is the fourth movie in the “Transformers” franchise and aims to reboot the series. It is directed by Michael Bay but has replaced all the principal cast, so gone is Shia LaBeouf, and Mark Wahlberg is welcome instead.

It will be out on June 27.
