It’s the third week in a row when “Transformers: Age of Extinction” takes the top spot among the most pirated movies in the world. The Michael Bay film entered the chart straight at the top and has stayed there ever since.

The week’s first new entry landed straight at number two. “Sex Tape,” a comedy featuring Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel, as well as Rob Corddry and Rob Lowe, has managed to make its way to the top of the chart and will likely stay there for at least a few weeks.

“Edge of Tomorrow,” the new Tom Cruise film that tells the story of yet another alien invasion, has slipped one spot to the third place, as exposed by a chart published by TorrentFreak.

At number four is “22 Jump Street,” the sequel to the 2012 hit “21 Jump Street,” which takes Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum and puts them once again undercover, this time sending them to college. Jenko and Schmidt experience not only life as students again, but also try to discover how their relationship has matured.

Lucy enters the game

The week’s second new entry is “Lucy” and can be found on the fifth place. Luc Besson’s new movie featuring Scarlett Johansson in the main role, as well as Morgan Freeman, has attracted quite a few movie lovers from all over the world after being launched in theaters back in July. The film is an action-thriller that sees Lucy transform into a merciless warrior after a series of events push her into a new life.

Angelina Jolie’s “Maleficent” keeps the same spot it had last week, earning the Disney movie yet another week in the chart. The film has managed to keep the top spot for quite a few weeks, but has been dropping slowly as interest diminishes.

“X-Men: Days of Future Past” has slipped two positions to number seven, failing to climb to the top spot as many were expecting, especially given the popularity of the series.

“Good People,” a movie featuring Kate Hudson and James Franco, has also attracted quite a few downloads, even though the film went down one spot over the past week. The film tells the story of a couple that discovers a stash of cash in the apartment of one of their neighbors who had been murdered. As expected, they quickly get into trouble with the people the neighbor stole from.

The last new entry of the week is “Are You Here,” landing straight at number nine. The comedy features Amy Poehler, Zack Galifianakis, and Owen Wilson, which indicates from the get go that it’s going to be quite fun to watch.

Last week’s number four, “Sin City: A Dame to Kill For” has crashed in the list of preferences of pirates around the world and can be found on number ten, closing up the chart.
