BlackBerry users frustrated about the latest outage are probably tempted to change to other platform, such iOS, Android or Windows Phone.

BerryMover is an application that tries to provide these BlackBerry users a smoother transition to iPhone devices.

Simply put, the application offers users the possibility to transfer contacts, calendars, text messages, email messages and more.

However, it appears that iPhone users will not be able to transfer their contacts to BlackBerry devices, but that application is aimed at BlackBerry to iPhone switchers.

Aside the recent BlackBerry outage that affected millions of users worldwide, a United Sample survey revealed earlier this year that more than 66% Verizon customers who own a BlackBerry device would switch to an iPhone if they could transfer all their important data.

With BerryMover users can choose which data they want to import, as the application only reads backup files.

As soon as users back up their BlackBerry data, they can upload it to their new iPhone device with BerryMover.

To make things even easier, the application is delivered with a full video tutorial on how to import BlackBerry data to an iPhone.

The following data can be imported from a BlackBerry device to an iPhone: Contacts, Calendar, Tasks, Notes, Text Messages, and Email Messages.

Other highlights of the BerryMover includes:

- Simple, fast importing of your data; - Select all or only a few items; - The ability to view or import appointments, contacts, tasks, notes, text messages and  more.

Although developers do not offer a trial version of the application, those who really want to switch to an iPhone can get a glimpse on the software's capabilities by watching the tutorial video below.

BerryMover is now available for download from the iTunes App Store for $9.99 and is compatible with all devices running iOS 4.2 or later.
