Transcend has already said its piece on the SDHC memory card market, but the company definitely doesn't look ready to take a break just yet. In fact, it went ahead and unveiled yet another flash-based storage solution. Still, this time, it paid more heed to the beautification element when it designed the enclosure. Basically, the so-called JetFlash V95C family of very compact flash drive units intend to reach the key rings of fashion-conscious end-users, and the latest model throws in the benefit of a large capacity.

The new JetFlash V95C has a capacity of 16 GB and communicates with host PCs via the ever popular Hi-Speed USB 2.0 interface. Additionally, backwards compatibility with USB 1.1 ports ensures that even older systems are supported. The transfer rates achievable on these connections are of 15 MB/s and 7 MB/s, respectively. A more than decent performance, but the fact remains that the design plays the pivotal role in the appeal of this newcomer.

The aforementioned 16GB are crammed inside an enclosure measuring only 40.6 x 18.4 x 7.2 mm. This casing is made of Zinc alloy, has a capless construction, features diamond pattern in champagne gold coloring and even boasts an embedded Swarovski blue crystal. All in all, it should prove quite the addition to any urban-styled outfit, at least that's what the company hopes. As for better functionality users can freely download Transcend's JetFlash Elite data management tools, which enhance mobile productivity.

“Transcend’s 16GB JetFlash V95C USB flash drive depicts a versatile diamond pattern in champagne gold for a look that is as elegant as an accessory boutique. The JetFlash V95C is incredibly slim and [...] brings a fascinating urban style to today’s fashion-minded users”, the press release states.

The Transcend JetFlash V95C comes with a leather strap and should easily handle all data backup, storing and carrying tasks. It has not yet started shipping, but pre-orders can already be set online for as low as 34.37 Euro.
