Merscom today announced that "Trainz Railroad Simulator 2006" for the PC has shipped to retailers nationwide and is now in stores.
Developed by Auran Games and rated "E" for Everyone by the ESRB, "Trainz Railroad Simulator 2006" is the most comprehensive railroad simulator ever developed.

In this latest installment in the Trainz series, virtual engineers can run long haul freight services, high-speed passenger runs and challenging yard operations.

Players can also design rail systems using over 7,500 scenery objects and operate more than 150 types of locomotives on ready-to-drive routes over hundreds of miles of stunning 3D terrain.

A new asset management utility, Content Manager Plus, lets players organize files and handpick new content from over 50,000 assets online.
