Training Mode Crucial to Multiplayer Success in Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm
Gamers will be able to learn all the required skills
Chris Sigaty, a production director working at Blizzard, says that the new Training Mode and A.I. Challenges that the team is introducing in Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm is designed to power player success in multiplayer. He tells Eurogamer that after they use them, “That attitude starts to come out. They say, 'okay, I'm getting it. I just beat the AI.' That, combined with the new levelling system, means it's much more inviting to catch the bug, the excitement of, 'wow, I really did better that time’.”
The new Starcraft 2 will change up multiplayer by introducing new units and by making some old strategies obsolete.
The A.I.-powered modes are designed to slightly increase the stakes for the player and show him the advanced tactics he needs to be competitive.
The game will be launched via Battl.net and physical retail on March 5 on the PC.
